Features
Correction of eccentricity, misalignment, and errors of the shaft directions
Prime mover torque is fully transmitted despite the presence of misalignment (offset and Angular) of shafts to a certain extent.
It automatically adjusts and absorbs parallel offset or tilting of the coupled shafts even if it occurs during operation, avoiding excessive loading on the shaft and bearing and thus protecting the machine.
Excellent wear resistance
Flexible coupling using crowned teeth features high durability and excellent wear resistance.
Compact size and easy mounting/dismounting
Separate center and case design allow for easy mounting/dismounting, and minimal installation space with its compact and lightweight design.
Additionally, a compact sleeve-type GL model is available.
Consistent rotation without misalignment
Unlike other flexible couplings, SEISA GC Coupling produces no difference in rotation angles between two shafts due to coupling deflection, making it the optimum choice for line shaft coupling, high-speed, and heavy-duty applications.
Easy shaft alignment and inspection
The length of the coupling center is longer compared to the coupling case width, allowing for easy shaft alignment by moving the coupling case within the range of boss length.
Inspection of the gear teeth also becomes easier.
