Compact and lightweight drive achieving 80% reduction in size

Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. will launch Compact Drive as a new addition to smartris for Drive Solutions for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)/Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) on March 1, 2024.

Compact Drive as small as a mouse, 120 mm wide and 0.3 kg in mass. 80% smaller than Normal Drive. Despite its compact size, it offers the same high performance and reliability as a Normal Drive and contributes to space saving in AGV/AMRs.
